As 2016 comes to a close, I always like to reflect kindly on the past months, appreciating the wonderful people and organisations that I have had the opportunity to either run a wellbeing event, facilitate a professional development day or speak at an annual conference.
2016 was a huge year for me, resulting in being engaged to run a series of workshops for both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises. These workshops included:
1) How to Manage Your Stress (Before it manages you).
2) Building Resilience Skills .
3) Building Confidence in less than 1 minute a day.
4) How to be Your Own Best Friend.
Being passionate about being both a professional speaker and regular cruiser this was the perfect engagement for me!
The good news is that 2016 brought me many opportunities to work with staff in the Caring and Education professions. This was a wonderful experience for me seeing an increase in organisations caring about the wellbeing of their staff. Some of the great organisations I worked with in 2016 included The University of Western Sydney, Newcastle University, MLC School, Annual Education Professional Development Day (Western Sydney Schools) and also the UPA (Aged Care) Annual Conference.
One of my favourite industries to work with is Hospitality and I was delighted to continue working with CHP RSL Club on a range of different topics.
As 2017 is upon us, I fully expect more organisations to explore the opportunities for their staff to become more resilient, confident and empowered. In saying this, please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to have a chat about how I can help you.
Many thanks to everyone for your support and have a fantastic empowered 2017!
